Scuba Diving
Have you ever wanted to know what it’s like to breathe underwater?
If you want to try scuba diving but don’t yet feel ready for a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is perfect for you.
Discover Scuba Diving, while not a certification course, offers a quick and easy introduction to the skills needed to explore the underwater world. To participate in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 8 years old. No prior scuba diving experience is required, but participants should be in good physical condition.
About Discover Scuba Diving (DSD)
Academics
You will learn the basic safety guidelines and develop the skills needed for diving, all under the supervision of a professional PADI dive instructor. If you choose to do an open water dive, you will also practice a few additional skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure. Get ready to:
- Get familiar with the scuba equipment and see how easily you can move underwater.
- Experience what it feels like to breathe underwater.
- Acquire essential skills you will use on every dive.
- Have fun swimming and exploring.
- Learn about the PADI Open Water Diver course.
Equipment
Your professional PADI instructor will provide all basic scuba equipment, including the mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD), dive gauges, and tank.
Getting Started
Contact us to register for a Discover Scuba Diving course and receive a participant guide. Our assigned representative will guide you through everything you need to know upon arrival at our Dive Center. You will also learn about the opportunity to join our scuba diving community once you complete your underwater experience.
