Description
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver e-learning program is designed to enhance your underwater knowledge and skills. You can enroll immediately after obtaining your PADI Open Water Diver certification, regardless of your skill level. The program helps build confidence and, consequently, improves your navigation and buoyancy skills, while introducing you to new activities such as wreck diving, night diving, or underwater photography.
Please note that qualifying certifications from other diver training organizations may apply – check with your instructor.
Academics
You can plan your learning path with the guidance of your instructor by choosing activities from the extensive list of Adventure Dives. Two dives are mandatory – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you can select three more to complete a total of five dives.
During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan your dives to safely handle the physiological effects and challenges of scuba diving in deeper waters. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive helps optimize your compass navigation skills while also improving navigation using kick-cycles, visual references, and time management.
The other skills and knowledge you acquire depend on your interests and chosen adventures – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, and much more.
