Description
Haven’t dived recently and need a quick refresher? The PADI ReActivate™ program is the perfect way to update your diving knowledge and review essential scuba skills. Whether you need just a few reminders or a more comprehensive review, this program provides an engaging, effective refresher of scuba principles and procedures.
The program is divided into two parts: 1) a knowledge review that includes interactive ReActivate modules, and 2) a skills refresher completed with a PADI professional. Upon successfully completing both parts, the PADI Diver receives a new replacement certification card showing the “ReActivated Thru” date. Divers originally certified through other training organizations (with proof of at least an entry-level certification) receive ReActivate Recognition Cards.
Equipment
You will need basic scuba equipment to participate in the ReActivate Scuba Refresher program. Your PADI professional can also guide you through an Open Water-style dive and explain any additional gear you may need, such as a wetsuit or drysuit, depending on local diving conditions.
Requirements
- Be over 10 years old
- PADI (Junior) Scuba Diver certification or proof of entry-level certification from another training organization with 4 open water dives
- Have approximately 2–6 hours available
