Unlike wetsuits, drysuits are filled with air. During your drysuit training, your instructor will teach you how to control the air in your suit along with your buoyancy.
You will also learn about the different types of diving suits, basic repairs, and drysuit maintenance.
Be a PADI Open Water Diver
Be at least 10 years old
Have approximately 2–3 days available (the dives must be completed over at least two days)
With your instructor
You will practice putting on and taking off your drysuit, determine the weight you need, and learn basic drysuit skills in a pool before completing two open water dives.
