Description
The allure of the ocean’s depths. There is something both exciting and mysterious about exploring diving attractions in the deep sea. It might be a wreck that draws you down to 18 meters, or a huge sponge on a wall dive. Whatever the reason, to be able to dive confidently to depths of up to 40 meters, you need to take the PADI Deep Diver Specialty program. You can enroll in the Deep Diver course if you hold a PADI Adventure Diver certification or higher and are at least 15 years old.
Academics
Along with understanding the value of deep diving and exploring your personal limits, you will learn about:
- Specialized deep diving equipment
- Deep dive planning, buddy contact procedures, safety considerations, and buoyancy control
- Gas management and handling gas narcosis

- PADI Adventure Diver (or a qualifying certification)
