Description
The next time someone loses an item underwater, you can be the hero who recovers it.
In the PADI Search and Recovery course, you will learn how to locate lost items underwater. You will practice various underwater search patterns and learn how to use a lift bag while planning and executing simulated search operations.
Requirements
- Be at least 12 years old
- Be a PADI Open Water Diver (or hold an equivalent certification)
- Have approximately 2–3 days available (the dives must be completed over at least two days)
With your instructor
During four dives, you will locate small and large objects using different search patterns. You will gain hands-on experience using a lift bag, and during the final dive, you will plan and execute a simulated search operation.
